With the ZIM FAST innovation network, cocoon is shaping digital change in industry.
Digitalisation is driving forward changes in industry at a rapid pace. Faster, more complex, more individual, more flexible – to fulfil these demands, small and mid-size firms need modern automation technology specially designed for smaller product series.
The FAST research project (Flexible Automation and System Technology 4.0) by the ZIM innovation network unites 16 partners from the fields of engineering, production, digitalisation, research and network management – including cocoon! Through shared projects, the partners combine their diverse competences and create synergies. The goal: targeted development and market introduction of successful products and processes.
The packaging technology of the future.
As part of the research project, we made it our personal goal to research future-proof packaging ourselves and answer the following key questions in doing so:
- What completely new types of packaging are possible?
- How can we make packaging more sustainable and reduce waste?
- How can we produce and develop on demand?
We are looking forward to coming together with our partners from the ZIM FAST innovation network to meet the challenges of the future where automated logistics and the packaging industry are concerned.
